john53
I saw a 1/144 airliner plastic injected kit for a 757-200 by this company on E Bay. Are they a decent kit or a knock off of Minicraft? Thanks---John
Dutch
John, Here is a list from Scalemates of all known 1:144 757 kits and some accessories. "Masterkit" is a rebox of the mid-1980s "Leoman" kit; very crude by today's standards. See parts breakdown in a Worthpoint listing here. Save your $ for a Minicraft or Welsh pop instead. Both are excellent. R/ Dutch Edited September 6, 2017 by Dutch add detail
john53
Thanks, I might just tackle the Minicraft kit, been reading a lot of fixes for that mishap of a kit. What a shame, one of my favorites.---John
waltmert
John, Welsh is a great kit but it is vacuform. Authentic Airliners 757 is out of this world but it is resin. PAS makes an awesome 757 but resin as well. So as far as plastic, Minicraft, but it really needs A LOT of work. Or, you can buy the Welsh fuselage and use the Minicraft plastic.
