SBARC
I hope you all get the heck out of danger...hurricane Irma looks like a very serious storm. Be safe everyone.
john53
I resemble that last remark. All WIPs in a plastic box, leaving my 55 plus home to stay with son in his block house 1/2 mile away. We are being evacuated as of Sunday 8 AM. Still quiet here in Clearwater-St Pete area. Just hoping my happy retirement home doesn't blow away.----Everyone else here stay safe!!!!---John
Ken Cartwright
Yes, best of luck to everyone in Irma's path! Take care everyone!
ikar
My wife's about 20 miles north in Lake Mary taking care of her brother who needs constant watching and may need to be taken to he hospital if the power goes out. Meanwhile his wife is working at one of the hospitals during the storm. I have to stay to take care of my animals and watch the house. My wife's brother sent out a general invite to the rest of the family to head to his place up in Georgia. I can't make that long a trip myself due to complications from military incurred medical problems. Oh well, this isn't the first storm I've been through.
tosouthern66
To my Florida brothers If you can get out of the way of the storm please do so. If you are unable please be careful. Make sure to let us know how you are doing after the storm passes.Good luck to those that have to stay behind!
SBARC
I think the storm surge is going to be deadly to low lying coastal properties. The wall of water will be pretty destructive.
