Spectre711
Anyone interested in a Shelf Queens Pt II GB to complete some of those unfinished kits that are laying around? I'm finding myself wrapping up some long over due kits and was thinking others might need a GB like me to get things done. Kurt H.
I would participate in this GB. I have a few projects that require motivation to complete. I also would not feel guilty about starting another model to participate in a GB.
Els
I have 5 nearly finished kits that I need some forced motivation to finish. One of them has been nearly finished for about 15 years so I would definitely be up for this GB.
Spectre711
As I sit here and think about it I have at least 10 long timers.
Scooby
I have a Hasegawa Hornet I started in 1999 that I'd love to finish. I bet I have the record for oldest shelf queen.
Hajo L.
MY Shelf Queens are that old that I don´t even remember when I started and abandoned them... ;) Althought most of them only lack the final decal-application.... HAJO
adamitri
I have a few stashed somewhere.
Spectre711
I Know what you mean! Had this Orion since the 80s but started it up when I got back into modeling about 15 years ago. It's almost there but just not. Don
Sadly I have many shelf queens. Any motivation to clear a couple would be most welcome. Count me in. Don.
Drifterdon
I'd be interested but I still haven't found an alternative to photobucket. Not sure how to post in progress pics.
modelmax
I'm in. In need of motivation! Ernie A.

Hajo L.
I switched to imgur, which is working good so far. HAJO
okthree
Shoot... I've got more shelf queens than I have finished kits. This would be just the ticket to motivate me to finish one or two. Or more...
Spectre711
Whats the count on votes before approval by the mods, 25?

dnl42
Yeah, I've got an Mi-2 that needs completing from the Happy Anniversary GB. It's primed; needs color coat, decals, rotors, and small bits... Full disclosure, I failed on SQGB1.
Spectre711
Well, I meant a poll has to reach a number of something like 25 in favor of it in order for the mods to consider the GB.

That is right. 25 yes votes. There were quite a few yes votes within a few hours.
Thommo
I've never had a shelf queen in my life......unless that gorgeous 20 year old brunette from my college days counts? Edited September 12, 2017 by Thommo

ChernayaAkula
Got loads of shelf queens. Some even from previous GBs on this here site. And my modelling mojo could use a kick-start.
CorsairMan
Let's do this again!
Spectre711
Going to keep with the last GB rules unless someone has some other sugestions.
Kurt H.
This GB proposal now has 26 votes. You can present it to the GB comission here are the rules for the last Shelf Queens GB: 1) the model was started over a year ago 2) the model has not been worked on in at least 6 months Seems simple enough to me. Simple GB rules are the best. What do you think? Jan 1 start date?
