Drifterdon Posted September 11, 2017 Share Posted September 11, 2017 Just picked up the 1/48 Italeri H-21 and was surprised to see that it did not include drop tanks in the kit. Does anyone know or can link a source that provides donor parts for the drop tanks. They almost remind me of the tip tanks the A/B-26K Counter Invader carried. Sort of like cut down Fletcher style tanks. Any help would be gratefully accepted. Don Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Ben Brown Posted September 11, 2017 Share Posted September 11, 2017 I'm pretty sure those are the same 450-gal Fletcher tanks carried by the F-101 and F-100. They at least look exactly the same, although they wouldn't have been swappable between the types. The dimensions of these tanks were: Diameter: 29.00 inches; Length: 224.71 inches.
