boom175
Hey folks, my Google-Fu has failed me I am trying to confirm the radome color of a Vietnam era AIM-7E2 Sparrow III missile along with the color of the exhaust port. I have seen some decent B/W pic but all teh color I can find are very distant.
adamitri
Air force should be an all white missile (I think). When i googled AIM-7, there are pics with F-4D's at Korat AB loaded with all white Sparrows.

GW8345
As stated the radome would be a dirty white (unless its brand new, then just white). The exhaust would be just like this CAD drawing, just without the "do not remove" from all the pic's I've seen.
Grey Ghost 531
The radome was ceramic. It was white to start but got grimy pretty easy since it was a dull surface and would pick up grease during any handling. They usually looked a blotchy off white.
