Your landing gear bay is interesting. So is the kit landing bay completely wrong?

Would you be interested in selling your templates? If so, I would like to purchase a set of your cockpit template.

Thank you for the education you are giving all of us on scratch building

Respectfully,

Sammuel,

The Monogran / Revell kit landing bay is not completely incorrect. It is only "poor" in detail and the point I commented in the last post is one of the perceived defects. In an OOB assembly it passes smoothly.
Regarding the sale of drawings: Not everything in life is money! The camaraderie and respect among the members of this hobby should prevail. For the human being to evolve, it is necessary to share knowledge without financial ambitions.
Send me a private message with your personal email that I forward to you the drawings in PDF (drawings) I have made (so far) of Hind 1/48 pieces.

Alex,

Well said and in no way did I mean to disrespect you with the offer.

I totally agree with your statement and we all should work together like yourself to keep our hobby growing and challenging our skills to improve.

You are much respected in our world and will send you my email.

Respectfully,

Sam M.

Very nice work but to be fair the Starboard opening is correct for the "D" that the kit represents, just not for the "F" version that you want to build. Thanks for the pictures though as I can use them to look at the new 1/72 "F" from Zvezda that is in the mail to me right now....Thanks for the informative thread...

Thank you RCAFFAN.Thank you!
Here many already show me my mistakes and I am very grateful for it!
Now I'm doing my part.

nice work, will you also lengthen the tail? As I recall the CMK-upgrade kit provides a plug for that, and also the dimensions for the wingstubs are different...

Keep up the good work...

Silenoz,

Thanks for attending the topic.

I should have done it right at the beginning of the assembly. In future steps of this work you will see this modification.

Thank you Silenoz,
Yes. These doors can be opened or closed in this my Hind model.

Gentlemen,

Here's another piece of work ...

Looking really good, but I think it sits a bit to high on the wheels overall

Silenoz,

Well observed, but this is because of the lack of weight of the other components that will finalize the model.
Remembering that all the landing gear that I modified have "shock absorbers" with springs that will lower the model naturally as it puts more weight of the complementary components.

Many thanks for the comment.

Wow this is just a wonderful build. My head hurts looking at the pictures. They are so detailled and shows some great modelling skills. However this is way beyond my capability. Thanks so much for posting your under construction shots for us mere mortals to drool over.

Chris,
Thank you for the words!
But do not go down because you feel you can not do the same.
I believe you can do and even do better!
We all have hidden potential and you should just try and persevere until you can.
The results come with great patience and perseverance!
