But, after I'd started looking and reading through this build thread, I soon realized I needed some help. So I went back to Page-1 and copied all the "superlatives" used by others, in describing the process and progress of this wonderful project. It's not everyday we have the pleasures of seeing a task such as this, performed in this upmost professional manner. And, I'm by no means an expert on helicopters. But, I do know this... "only both the Russians and Alexandre can build a Hind like this!" It would be criminal if this model didn't make it into several, Scale Modeling Magazines. So the best thing I can possibly contribute as a worthy comment about Alexandre's model is this. "He decided to start and complete a Scratch-building endeavor, and discovered along the way... he needed to add a Hind helicopter kit to it." The Underdog "Superlatives" by Others... impressive amazing Great job Beautiful work true master OMG Very impressive really sharp MAGNIFICENT very nice keeps getting better craftsmanship Phenomenal work Outstanding work Simply unbelievable master craftsman simply amazing Unbelievable truly amazing I'm stunned stunning work extremely impressive skills are second to none Just great Amazing work super skills I'm speechless. Sammuel, The Monogran / Revell kit landing bay is not completely incorrect. It is only "poor" in detail and the point I commented in the last post is one of the perceived defects. In an OOB assembly it passes smoothly. Regarding the sale of drawings: Not everything in life is money! The camaraderie and respect among the members of this hobby should prevail. For the human being to evolve, it is necessary to share knowledge without financial ambitions. Send me a private message with your personal email that I forward to you the drawings in PDF (drawings) I have made (so far) of Hind 1/48 pieces. []s Man, I don't even care about the model...that is some righteous, spot on spirituality.
ALEXANDRE REZENDE
Stalal, Salomon and Napalmakita: Thanks so much! A short continuation ... Now it's time to make the auxiliary power unit ... I selected some scrap pieces to create this equipment ... Result with painting ... References... Pipes and fixation of rotor controls ... Overview so far ...
LyIgor
Great, Alexandre! This is auxiliary power unit. In russian - VSU (вспомогательная силовая установка) for starting main engines
The Underdog
Just when you thought you'd seen what you thought you saw, we now get an APU for the Hind. Oh, forgive me... an VSU (вспомогательная силовая установка) as those folks in Russia would say! "It shouldn't get any better, but you can bet it will."
ALEXANDRE REZENDE
Thanks, Lylgor and Underdog! Here is a small continuation ... The main rotor head of the Mi-24 proposed by Monogram / Revell has 6 parts and is not very realistic visually ... There is a resin set for 1/48 scale that most choose to use to improve the look ... As I intend to include a mechanism for changing the blade pitch, I chose to improve the part that came in the kit based on the references ... First results ... More modifications ... Test on site ... Other add-ons ... Visual awaiting the blades and some fine details ... In the next post, I'll show you the blades.

Your M-60 was printed using resin (not filament) and looked great on the 1/48 scale ... Printing using this type of material is not cheap, but it has a much higher quality compared to the filament ABS. Thanks again for the availability of the 3D file! See print photos... My Friend, There are lights at the tips of the blades that provide this effect: However, in my model, I did not program the inclusion of these lights (it would be very nice ... unfortunate not to have foreseen and done that). midnightprowler
I see. Cool. That would be difficult to do in scale. Edited July 2, 2020 by midnightprowler
