Thanks Ice225 !

In fact this assembly started at the end of 2013.

Due to total lack of time (and also because of other projects) it has been going very slowly.

But it will be finalized.

I just found this thread, read all the way through thill here and I'm speechless! What an absolute show-stopping model this has become! Your scratch building and skills are unparalleled and the wealth of information gleaned and techniques shown are invaluable and I will be following this thread and cant wait to see what comes next!

Very impressive work for sure. 👍
But for my personal taste I'm not very fond of upening up every panel on a plane or helicopter, it takes away to much of the (in most cases) good looks of the overall shapes of the subject.

Unless you potray it in a dio with service going on.

Just my very personal taste.

Thanks for the kind words, Gregg.
I have other assemblies done that way. In my subscription there are links to them, if you are interested in seeing.

I understand your point of view Johan.
That is why I do not leave the doors that are open fixed. They gain hinges to have movement of opening and closing, being able to expose the model open or closed.

It really is a matter of personal taste.

Each pulley tooth is not cut, but pierced (like a star).
After drilling around the piece (which has a central hole), I trim the ends to be straight.
Thanks for the comment.

Rarely am I lost for words, not being able to express myself. But, after I'd started looking
and reading through this build thread, I soon realized I needed some help. So I went back
to Page-1 and copied all the "superlatives" used by others, in describing the process and
progress of this wonderful project.

It's not everyday we have the pleasures of seeing a task such as this, performed in this
upmost professional manner. And, I'm by no means an expert on helicopters. But, I do
know this... "only both the Russians and Alexandre can build a Hind like this!" It would
be criminal if this model didn't make it into several, Scale Modeling Magazines. So the
best thing I can possibly contribute as a worthy comment about Alexandre's model is
this.

"He decided to start and complete a Scratch-building endeavor, and discovered along
the way... he needed to add a Hind helicopter kit to it."
