Ryan Hothersall Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 The 1:72 Zvezda kit of the MiG-21bis built in the markings of the Soviet Union. This aircraft wears special Komsomol Guarantee - Excellent Maintenance Guarantee on the starboard side and 17th Congress of Komsomol on the port side. Only issue with this build was this kit had a short shot fuselage half, so there was a piece missing out of the intake, which was fixed with plastic card, filler and super glue. The AA-2 Atoll/AA-2-2 Advanced Atoll missiles came from the Dragon Air to Air Missiles weapons set, also robbed an extra pair of missile rails from another kit. Colour used is overall Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver. Decals are from Begemot. They went on without any trouble. Option 9 on the sheet.
