Some kit manufacturer's suggest painting the F-22 in the "Mod Eagle" colors, but they are way off. Witness this:

I tried fudging the colors mixing a couple of Testor Metalizer colors, but I haven't found a satisfactory formula.

I've seen some good suggestions and some great builds. I'll check my notes and post. But to get the metallic sheen, I just mix Testors *gloss silver* in the 1/4 oz bottle with standard colors called for. Or....with the colors that look the best to me. Somehow this gloss silver combination looks great.....for any plane with a "sheen". Not perfect....but pretty good!

Light ghost gray edges, stainless steel main color, anthracite gray darker tone. 

 

I think edges and main color looks ok but the darker one was off.
