Special Hobby 1/72 AH-1G

Recommended Posts

For those have built the kit, which method did you use for building, build up each side (nose, body and tail) then stick both sides together or assembly each section (nose, body, tail) then stick them all together.

Working on the Spainish kit. Any known gotchas with the schemes, add this or remove that? Thinking the Marina scheme w/mini guns.

Don't forget to replace the tail rotor with the correct one from Werner's Wings.

Both Special Hobbies and AZ Models used the late AH-1F/ Bell212 type tail rotor blade assembly from backdated examples.  The AH-1G had the same type of tail rotor as the UH-1H, regardless of which side the tail rotor is on.  Both company's only offered the wrong style of tail rotor.
