Brady
Hi Everyone, I wanted to share some photos of my recently completed Aurora 737-200 finished with DRAW Decals' Aloha Airlines livery. It was originally intended for a 737-700, but with a little bit of work, they got the job done. A lot of people simply collect these old kits and never build them. True, they do show their age in some areas, but for me, it was an added treat working with plastic that dates back to 1968. I did add a set of resin engines from Contrails, as well as scratchbuilt flap fairings. I took a tiny bit of liberty and added the BOEING 737 titles to the engines, as I always thought that looked cool on the -200's. I also named her Hilo, which I think was the name of a -700, but Hilio Airport will always be where I first remember encountering the Aloha 732's. All things considered, I'd say it held up pretty well and I am very pleased with the result. I hope you enjoy! Edited December 6, 2017 by Brady

GEH737
Very nicely done. Taking such a basic kit and turning it into such a nice display piece is a great example of what can be done with older kits :)
