DELETE: WTT FurBall Aero-Design: Select 48-029 366th F-4D markings for 48-031 12th TFW "XT" 391st TFS

Recommended Posts

As part of my 366th FW history build, I am planning on building several F-4C/D Phantom IIs from the 366th in Vietnam using the excellent Furball Aero decal sheet 48-029 Gunfighters, Pt 1.

I would like to add a model of the 391st TFS when it was attached to the 12th TFW at Cam Ranh Bay.  In particular, I am looking for either one of the following markings:

F-4C 64-0770, "XT" 391st TFS, 1968 , “JEANNIE” nose art

or

F-4C 64-0741, "XT" 391st TFS, 1968, “BUNKIE BATTLER” nose art

I will use the following three markings from Furball Aero-Design sheet 48-029 for Gunfighters of the 389th TFS, 390th TFS, & 480th TFS while stationed at Da Nang AB.

F-4D 66-8775 “CO” 366th TFW, 480th TFS. Features “The Saint” nose art and Wing Commander’s fuselage bands.

F-4D 66-8820 “AW” 366th TFW, 389th TFS. Features “Gunfighter I” nose art and Wing Commander’s Fuselage bands.

F-4D 66-7696 “BB” 366th TFW, 390th TFS. Features “The Blue Max” nose art along with Squadron Commander’s fuselage bands.

I would be willing to trade any of my unused markings from sheet 48-029 for either of the two requested markings from sheet 48-031.

The markings available for trade:

F-4D 66-7707 “AL” 366th TFW, 389th TFS. Features “The Red Baron” nose art along with Squadron Commander’s fuselage bands.

F-4C 64-0806 “CO” 366th TFW, 480th TFS. Features a large shamrock on the tail.

F-4C 64-0748 366th TFW, 389th TFS. Features a candy-striped rudder.

F-4C 64-0820 “AT” 366th TFW, 389th TFS. Carries 3 MIG kill stars on the nose.

F-4C 64-0825 “AB” 366th TFW, 389th TFS. Features 389th Commander’s fuselage stripes.

F-4C 63-7489 35th TFW, 480th TFS. MIG killer/Features a large red MIG-21 silhouette on the nose.

F-4C 63-7704 “CS” 366th TFW, 480th TFS. MIG Killer.

F-4D 66-0242 “LF” 366th TFW, 390th TFS. Features Boar’s Head Squadron marks on both intakes.

F-4C 64-0752 35th TFW, 480th TFS, 1967. MIG killer with large MIG-21 silhouette on the splitter plates.

Delete request.

Dutch,

Do you need any markings from Furball's Gunfighter Phantoms Part 1 (48-029) or Part 2 (48-030)?  I have both of those sheets and there are more markings there then I will ever use.  Let me know!  Cheers!

Best Regards,

Ken,  Thanks, but I have sheet FBA 48-029 Gunfighter Phantom Part 1.  I will only use three marking options from this sheet (48-029), and was looking to trade any of the unused marking options for one set of 391st TFS markings from FBA 48-031 12th TFW Da Nang sheet.  Sorry if I confused anyone.  R/Dutch
