DarkKnight
was looking in a book today, saw control sticks for weapons systems but no throttle and other controls, can a RIO fly an F-14 if pilot incapacitated or is it eject time
Joe Hegedus
No. No flight controls in the rear cockpit.
11bee
What a horrible design flaw. If only Goose could have taken the controls, things might have worked out much differently. RIP my American hero. Edited December 23, 2017 by 11bee

The control stick was strictly for controlling the radar. If the pilot is available to fly the aircraft, it's time to take the silk elevator down to the ground level.
