fasteagle12
This may have already been posted somewhere here, but I ran across some photos of an VFMA-211 bird with colorful tail feathers.... Hopefully, more color will follow as more squadrons stand up.... Edited December 25, 2017 by fasteagle12

habu2
Hoping we will finally see some interesting tail art and colors once the Navy’s C-models are operational and deployed.
Mstor
Interesting that in the line up of 35b's on the deck, no two of them have the same coloring patterns on all the RAM panels.

modelguy2
Interested in seeing VMFA 122 and 225's B markings and 314's C markings in the years to come

USAFsparkchaser
I still wonder why Air Force ones do not have any type of tail flashes applied. F-22’s at least have tail flashes, which are subdued though. Need a little more identification on AF 35’s other than their squadron patch on the side of the intake. Maybe they also wanted to make the identifications as stealthy as possible.....
USAFsparkchaser
Ya but the F-35’s still could get a subdued tail flash like the F-22 have.
ThePhantomTwo
The 4th,34th and 466th at Hill started to apply them recently, they correspond with panel lines and aren't full upper fin size like on the F-16C's they had,and of course are in grey.
