davetur
I have always had a soft spot for the Lightning. I built my first when I was a teenager from the Frog box. Not exactly a "beautiful" aircraft, with its massive belly tank, but something that gives the idea of brute force, like a MiG-25 or the A-10. After some time the Trumpeter kit came out, I decided to buy and build it. Then the Airfix came out, and being more accurate in shape, I decided to build it. And then the Sword trainer came out, so... why not? Here they are. The Trumpeter F.6. With Aires cockpit, Aires corrected exhausts, Xtradecal decals and Master pitot. davetur
The Airfix F.6, OOP except Xtradecal decals, Master pitot and scratchbuilt cannon muzzle brakes. From a 1.25 mm steel tube with cuts made with a cutting wheel. Edited December 25, 2017 by davetur
davetur
The Sword T.5, OOB except the Master pitot, and the fin decal. The original was totally out of scale, so I used the one of the Airfix kit. The resin seats and colored photoetched parts are from the box.

Slartibartfast
Nicely done. Word of warning: watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow. Edited January 9, 2018 by Slartibartfast
southwestforests
Lightning was/is a really interesting airplane which has seemed in past to not in this country get the credit it deserves.
