First flown in 1959, the Talon has been in service with the US Air Force, US Navy and NASA. The aircraft was also flown by the USAF Thunderbirds from 1974 to 1983. On February 18, 1962, a T-38 set 4 time-to-climb world records to 3,000, 6,000, 9.000 and 12,000 meters.
