11bee Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 I just stumbled upon this. Nice hi-res cockpit video of an Air France landing at Newark. Looks beautiful at night (at bit different than the view during the day). It's also nice because it's includes all the ATC communication instead of music like many other videos out there. Enjoy. The other video isn't quite as well produced but it does a great job of illustrating one of the more challenging approaches at a major US airport, the Canarsie approach into JFK's runway 13L. The approach seems to consist of following a major highway, turns and all until you make a final relatively sharp turn at low altitude, prior to runway threshold. The other interesting thing is that there are flashing "lead-in" lights spaced along the entire approach. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
