phantom
1/32 F-4D by Tamiya. Modifications are the removal of the RWR and undernose sensor. The decals represent a Iranian F-4D which shot down at least one Iraqi Mig-21 in 1980. The yellow patches are the Tamiya battle repair patches simply NOT removed. Figure the damage the Iranian Phantoms took , some came home with damage. A quick patch up and back to battle. Just to be different really. I have a good three more I wish to do for this GB (1 Super Hornet and at least 2 Phantoms) but have some commission builds to do first. Fubuki4
1st LT David Waldrop III's F-105D in which he probably scored two MiG 17 kills using the 20mm M61 cannon, although officially credited with only 1.
picknpluck
This F-105G, 63-8320, is credited by the Air Force Museum with three MiG kills and is currently on display there. I built it using Monogram's old 1/72 F-105G Wild Weasel kit. I added Microscale decals to this otherwise out of the box build.
