aidy
Hi Kursad, Any chance you might consider this subject? We've got the nice Academy kit available, and a growing number of users like Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Iraq.
KursadA
I already drew most of the art needed for a FA-50 sheet. I have been expecting Academy to update their kit with the very few new parts that are needed for the FA-50 (straight fin tip, pylons, gun fairing etc.); but they never did. I am not sure if I can sell enough sheets without a kit or at least easily available, inexpensive resin conversion parts. I hope someone addresses this soon. Johnopfor
You may want to hold off on this sheet for a while. There is information coming out that Argentina is in talks with South Korea about the possible purchase of 12 FA-50s for the Air Force.

Johnopfor
It's in Spanish, but..... http://www.webinfomil.com/2016/09/la-fuerza-aerea-argentina-podria.html https://www.zona-militar.com/2017/10/01/kai-ultima-los-detalles-los-fa-50-argentinos/ Argentina, Mexico and Peru have evaluated the jet, but so far, only Argentina has shown any immediate interest in the aircraft. Peru already operates the KT-1 prop trainer, also built in South Korea. This comes after attempts by Argentina to purchase Mirage F-1s from France & Spain and attempts at negociations with Israel for Kfirs, the last round was broken off by Argentina last year over price. Thailand, Indonesia, Iraq and the Philippines currently operate the FA-50.

I have enough art for a complete sheet with lots of attractive options (Indonesia etc.) and need to draw the line somewhere. By this logic, this sheet will never get done - the T-50/FA-50 is a contender in many, many potentials deals around the world, including the USAF T-38 replacement program where it certainly has a chance. Of course; if it gets selected as the T-38 replacement, I bet Academy will put together a kit in two weeks. Edited February 4, 2018 by KursadA

Hans
Paul Fernandez (riversphynxz) of Blue Diamond Decals, focuses on Philippine Air Force subjects. He already has the FA-50 line (markings available for all 12 jets in the PAF fleet by order) in 1/48 and 1/72 scales, you can contact him here in the forums for orders. you can also check out his facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/Philippine-Military-Scale-Models-1548733742048308/ Edited February 5, 2018 by Hans
aidy
Good to know that you've done work on this, Kursad. Hope someone (wolfpack, maybe?) produces the parts needed to make this sheet happen.

Someone (HobbyGallery) already makes the parts, but unfortunately it does not seem to be widely available. https://m.blog.naver.com/pokiman/30172271763

Biggles81
The resin looks very Wolfpackish - I wonder if it was a contract - we may yet see a conversion from them.
