Emvar
Lol..... Seen his stash and built kits. He has a fair amount of AJ tail codes and F-18 aircraft. Should charge for tours.
phantom
Yeah, the CVW-8 wall is in more of a need of cleaning then the Phantom wall was. The odds and sods wall and Canadian walls are not too bad. I had to take them down and dust them when I redid the kitchen a couple months back. An electrician had to come in and needed that area. I can do basics but when it comes to adding new banks in the fuse box I hire a professional.
picknpluck
Wow, impressive! So I've got to ask: Which of those is your favorite? And of all the Phantom kits you've built, which (in your opinion) is the best in 1/48 and in 1/72?
phantom
Favs, are the 1/32 for all the extra work. Best is subjective. Academy might be best in most areas (except cockpit) folllowed by Hasegawa, never built the ZM. 72 Hasegawa hand down.

I can wire a new room, add lights, etc, but when we had the service increased from 100 to 150 watts, went with a Lic professional. Well worth the money and the peace of mind. afspret
How 'bout one of the F-4 flown by Capt. Dean Paul Martin and his WSO, Capt. Ramon Ortiz of the California ANG?
phantom
Not sure I have decals for that one. Might have markings for a all light gray ADC version. Is that the one with a blue stripe and the word California in it?
afspret
I think so, he was with the 196th FS and they had the blue band with stars on all four corners of the band.
phantom
Oh, Europe scheme. Do not have those decals.

phantom
No worries, have a bunch of commission builds going now. No Phantoms for a couple months. Elmo, go have some more cough syrup and get healthy.
Tailspin Turtle
Have you done any flush-canopy F4Hs, F4H-1Fs, F-4As? I need pictures of build models and background on build.
phantom
Nope, the conversion sets I have found are too expensive or 1/72 which I try to avoid now.
