crowe-t
Does anyone know what Olive Drab color was used on the Army aircraft, specifically the helicopters during the Korean war? I know there are different FS and ANA Olive Drab colors. I picked up an MRC 1/35 Bell 47D that I'll be building like a TV series M*A*S*H Helicopter. a_09_zpsaf9f51f1 by Michael Scarola, on Flickr MASH201_zps31633bbf by Michael Scarola, on Flickr
UH-1Mad
I find the most accurate one to be the Model Master Olive Drab FS34087
HeavyArty
Yes, they were OD Green and I concur that the MM one UH-1Mad mentions as the most accurate.
crowe-t
I happen to have a bottle of Testors MM Olive Drab FS34087 and it does look just like the Helicopter in the above picture. It also looks a lot like the Olive Drab on the one in this picture below. I know there were different Olive Drab colors used. Was FS34087 actually the one used during the Korean War? 5760876302_da844aa509_b by Michael Scarola, on Flickr
