I've never used an image hosting service but I've seen plenty of people talk about it.  There should be a share button or something similar that provides just the image url. Your attempt included a while bunch more and the board sorftware couldn't resolve it as anything but text.

all you need is

which needs to be wrapped in image tags.

Ha ha.  I was just giving you a hard time.  Did you know that you can embed a photo from your computer directly into the post without going through an image hosting service?

For example:

Can you give me a brief "how to" on the direct embedding?

Sure.  Whenever you reply to a post, there is an option to "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." located just below the text box where you are typing the message.  Click on "choose files..."  This should open up the file explorer on your computer.  Navigate to the folder where your picture is located and click on the picture you want to embed.  Make sure the file size is 0.1MB (100KB) or less.  You can use Photoshop or another image editing software to scale the image down to proper size.  Once the image has been uploaded, there will be a '+' sign at its lower left corner.  Click on the plus sign to embed the image into post.  See the image below:

Hey, the picture is showing up fine.  I have not seen any built F-15C in that scheme.

Good!!! then i will be the first.  I am currently building it in 72nd scale using the newest Hasegawa F-15C with Fishbone Decals.  I believe that Hasegawa just released this kit with the decals last month.
