tomdelis
Hi Guys, I am advancing in building my 1/48 Kittyhawk SU-35 which I am planning to make as the SU-35S bort number 902 with the nice splinter camo. I am trying to find as many photo references as possible though but I found my self only with a handful of them. I studied the instructions kittyhawk provide with the kit for the painting and I can see some issues there. I am not talking about the colours as these I think are not the correct ones, but it is generally about the scheme. I see for example that the Nose colour on the real plane has a different pattern than kittyhawk, etc etc. I search all over the net and I could only find a few pictures, and in case you have some more that would be very much appreciated. see below some of my progress on the exhausts. I had to cut the tubes provided with the kit in order to give the correct angle for the resin nozzles Kittyhawk provides as otherwise, there is a huge step inside the exhaust tube. 7_04_09_813 by Chrysostomos Deliyiannis, on Flickr 10454358t3 by Chrysostomos Deliyiannis, on Flickr 20180206_211939 by Chrysostomos Deliyiannis, on Flickr 20180206_211948 by Chrysostomos Deliyiannis, on Flickr Not yet finished but this is the first step in painting the exhausts 20180212_125922 by Chrysostomos Deliyiannis, on Flickr 20180212_125933 by Chrysostomos Deliyiannis, on Flickr
mingwin
have you try Google image with "Su-35 902"? seems like a good place to start from. KNAAPO has a small gallery as well. Link Edited February 20, 2018 by mingwin

Inquisitor
As seen from the pictures available on the web and begemot's decal instructions and even Akan's paint set for 902 it's clear there are two tones of 'medium gray' between upper and lower fuselage, the lighter tone one on the lower. KH incorrectly assumes it's one single medium gray all around, and also assumes the 'dark gray' is a 'dark blue' due to the color/white balance of most 902 pictures.
