You are going faster than I can type. Any way, I am working on one of those and I was curious about the fuselage to wing/lower fuselage fit. It is a trouble spot on many phantom kits.

The other Academy  kits i have done were great for fit. This one not so much. Putty sand putty sand then clamps seemed to do the trick on the right side. The left fit fine.

I put the tabs in loose, leaving a little more showing then I should. Then use that 90% angle as a ledge to glue the wing on. Main reason is to save room on the shelfs. Have a LOT of Phantoms on display ya know..

Ha! I've heard you may have one or two F-4's laying around on your shelf. Have you dug into one of the new ZM kits yet?
