Vidar_710
I know Soviet aircraft, but I don't know their weps... I have the original update set from Chris, i.e, intakes, canopy, and nose cone I bought YEARS ago. I plan to get the missile rails, stinger, and required missiles from Chris. Which missiles are a typical load-out for an early Soviet SU-27? Wing tip missiles, or the pods? I already have the Aries Cockpit, Wolfpack wheel wells, and North Star engine cans and turkey feathers. Tracy
Zactoman
What is a typical loadout? I suppose that all depends on the mission. Most pics, when carrying anything, show a pair of Archers on the wing pylons and a couple of Alamos on the centerline (usually Alamo-C, sometimes A). A fuller load might include a pair of Alamo-Bs on the wings. Wingtips and intakes seem to be the last stations filled. The Su-27 is capable of carrying any combination of Alamo missiles so long as the type is balanced left-to-right. A good full loadout would be 4 Alamo-C (centerline and intakes), 2 Alamo-B and 4 Archers. This is the loadout I chose to use on my Flanker artwork: Here are some less common loadouts:
Vidar_710
Thanks for the guidance Alamo C on the intakes, or the belly? Tracy

Tracy In my comments above I refer to the belly as "centerline". So yes, the belly is almost always loaded with Alamo-C, sometimes Alamo-A.
