Collin Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 Old engines (J52-P-6/8)= small/normal intakes. TA-4J's I flew in VFC-12 (and saw on Oceana and elsewhere) were small intake. A-4M/A-4F SuperFox with the J52-P408 engine had the large intake. We had some of them in VFC-12 when I was there. VF-43 also had them across the ramp from us (some ex-Blue Angle A-4's as well).
