mungo1974
Maybe this question has been ask before but the search function didn't throw up much.. Are there any conversions sets out there to convert the various Italeri 1/48 Blackhawk kits to the Japanese Mitsubishi built cousins?? Looked the Hasegawa 1/72 kits but they are alot of cash for a 80's kit with alittle PE/Resin and new decals...plus ideally I would like to build in 1/48 Just getting into Helos as a change of pace so don't really know whats outthere... Also how on earth in 2018 do we not have a decent AH-1F/S 1/48 model other than to old Monogram kit Thanks in advance.
skyhawk174
Well as far as I know there is no full kit of the Japanese H-60 in 1/48. There are few in 1/72nd. As for resin, Cobra Company issued a new Japanese nose for the H-60. The Cobra Company line was bought up by Lone Star Models when Cobra shut down. I too would like a Japanese H-60 as their schemes are really nice. I never say never anymore and I have lots of helicopter kits to do until then. As for the AH-1F, yeah what's up with that? Coming soon in 1/48 by Xtream Modelers Studio, the set is interior and exterior full detail, the page is Xtream Modelers Studio in face
