Stopped at my LHS yesterday and I was surprised to see that they had several in stock. I was even more surprised to see the $124.00 price tag attached to it as well. I feel kinda crummy because I know for a fact that I won't buy it from them at that price.

:woot.gif: Wow, people are THAT rich in Lima! Do you own a cocoa farm or something, Manuel?

How soon are you going to start building your Tamiya kit once it's delivered to you?

Cheers,

Onigiri

Lol
Hello Onigiri, I´m Architect, no farms at all, no in Lima.
And yes, I will build the F-14D from tamiya one second later that it arrives. I have a lot of modelling friends from here, with a lot of stuff to build so.

Current builds:
1/48 F-14A VF-2 Tamiya
1/48 F-117A Tamiya
1/48 Su-33 Kinetic.

Hola, Manuel!

Hope you start a build thread on the Tamiya F-14D as soon as you start with it.

I'm enjoying my Tamiya F-14D so far It's even better than their A! Any aftermarket source for closed aperture GE exhaust nozzles? The kit only has open ones and I am building this jet in cruise.

KA-models makes a closed and open GE exhausts. Set with and without the burner tubes.

The ones that Stephen linked to are KA-Models. MK.1 Design is just another of the brands he uses.

Here's a link to the ones with the burner cans (these one's are one piece) on his website.
