picknpluck
Hey all, I've got an idea for a group build but before I propose it, I'd like to go into it with eyes open. What's expected of me as a group build moderator?
Kurt H.
I have moderated a few group builds, it is pretty easy. First, you set the rules for the GB If there is a raffle it is up to you to distribute the prizes Most of what you do is to check in on the build threads, and follow up if there is a lack of updates. I enjoyed it. The hardest part is coming up with a good idea which is both not too specific, but also not too broad.
picknpluck
That doesn't seem too bad. I have an idea...i guess I'll post up a feeler with a poll and see what happens.
airmechaja
It's also nice IF the moderator shows up and sticks with the group build!
picknpluck
LOL there is that!
phantom
Lately many of the group builds are lacking in the moderator showing up. Read and comment on the posts in your GB. Encourage the builders. Say "Nice job" or SOMETHING once in a while. Keep your GB active this way. Build a couple models during your own GB. It really is simple. But it takes maybe 10 minutes A WEEK to keep people moving.
