Greenghost
I'm working on this 1/72 F-5E. Using Printscale decals and the rising sun decal broke apart...any recommendations? Manual touch up with red paint? Thanks

You might consider removing the decal, mask it yourself and paint. Or buy another set of decals only this time treat them with a coating to give them more strength. Greenghost
Yes, I have that second set...how would you recommend to remove it?
Ben Brown
Apply some tape to the decal and then pull it off. It might take a few tries, but the tape will stick to the decal better than the decal will stick to the model. Unless you've used a lot of setting solution to melt the decal, it should pull right off. Ben
seawinder
I'd take a photo of it, size it to match, and use it as a template to cut your own masks. I think Printscale decals have a reputation for disintegrating. If you're set on using the other set, I'd recommend giving them a coat of Micro Liquid Decal Film first.
