afoxbat
John53, very nice Six! They had the best paint jobs too! I agree though, the nose needs a bit of a tweek. Respectfully, afoxbat
Don
It's Friday... grab a "Six Pack"... These ^^^ were the Sixes I remember from back in the day. Such a sleek and elegant looking aircraft in my opinion. Happy Friday all!

john53
Supposedly the worst part of the Trumpeter kit is the bottom wing join. Reminds me of the old Hasegawa kits with those weird inserts into the bottom wing. It's right where the drop tank goes so the tank hides the seam, seems as though one side is higher than the other creating a step. I am thinking of doing the Trumpeter though as the Meng kit looks way too over engineered.---John Edited May 4, 2018 by john53 grammar error
ikar
The 49th aldo had a detachment stationed at Loring A.F.B., Maine in the 70s. I remember seeing anywhere fro 2-4 aircraft at their pods near the ammo storage area, but it could have been during pilot rotation.
