This is a kit I've wanted to build for a long time.  Fit is close to perfect.  A nice easy build.  It's my first time tackling NMF since getting back into building.  I haven't ventured into the world of Alclad yet, so this one is pretty basic...Testors Metallizer Aluminum Plate out of a rattle can.  I may get more adventurous for the next try at NMF.

Very nice build. I like how your cover fit over the ammunition bays. I could not get that nice a fit when I did mine. I had to use some filler and rescribe. To be honest I think Tamiya did not really want you to close it up.

I love this kit and I have another in my stash to build. I built my last one as Greek AF in NM. Not sure what I want next though.

I agree Skyhawk!  I love the gun bay, but also think the open bay ruins the lines of the jet.  The bay cover is just presses into place.  I was lucky that mine fit nicely and looks OK just pressed in.

I'm a big "What If" modeler, so my next one of these might very well be early fifties Raf Germany or late fifties FauxAF.  It really is a great little kit!

Cool. I did not think to just press fit it and glued mine in.

I also love what-if stuff. I only really finished one but have more ideas to do. The one I did finish was a Do335 in WWII Italian Air Force with the smoke rings. Came out great I thought and really works on that shape of aircraft.
