Next figure is an USAAF pilot, in summer flight suit, A2 leather flight jacket , A-11 helmet and Mk VIII goggles:

The figure looks very nice, and your posed photos make it very clear how high to aim the camera next time I photograph a P-47 mode.

That's a stunning model, and the pilot's not too shabby, either! 🙂 He would make an excellent "tail prop" for a tricycle gear aircraft as well. Cheers!

If so, that is exactly what I was waiting for to complement my P-51.

I think not, I didn't find a picture showing the use of Mk. VIII goggles in pacific. You may have a look at our second USAAF pilot on www.reedoak.com, who matches also Pacific theater

yes, he depicts a pilot in the mediteranean area, but it can also be somewhere in the pacific, it's a hot weather flight suit
