Space Tiger Hobbes
I've read the Minicraft civilian 707 series has a bad nose shape. Is that true of the KC-135 series? I read an IPMS review of the KC-135E that said the nose was fixed. Wonder if that's true of all the military 707 kits from Minicraft? Anyone know?

Trojan Thunder
Not sure about the nose shape issue on the KC-135 series, but the windscreen shape is off. This can be fixed with a windscreen decal. The Minicraft 707 series of kits uses the same fuselage parts for civil and military boxings, so if it is boxed as a military version, e.g. E-3, E-8, etc it will still have the same civil fuselage with the shape issues. AD-4N
I used a 1/144 Liveries Unlimited narrow body Boeing windshield on the Minicraft KC-135A to make this C-135A, and I thought it turned out well. http://www.arcair.com/Gal-Archives/jet/C-135/01.shtm

Space Tiger Hobbes
Really nice build. I'm discovering some of the nice detailing decals available for 1/144 airliners.

Never sure if it's white or really light grey. And your C-135A turned out awesome!

Not certain if it is correct, but I figured the USAF would use ADC gray. Thanks so much for your kind words. Build a Minicraft -135 today! The fit is exceptional and with Caracal Decals you can build almost any version.
