john53
The yellow trim is sprayed, Tamiya TS-34 Camel Yellow.---John
john53
I found a spot on the bottom of the right stab where the mask leaked through. I sanded off the yellow, masked the top of the stab and stuck all of the model except the stab in a plastic shopping bag, sealed the bag and sprayed the stab blue again. I am using aerosol spray cans so I don't have the finesse of an air brush.---John
john53
Ready to decal, let the fun begin!---John
K2Pete
Your paint looks mighty good ... your skill with masking and a spray can works well. I've noticed that the majority of we modellers use an airbrush only as a spray can anyway. Your result looks great John!  Pete
john53
Thanks Pete, nothing but good words for Walthers Solvaset! About 10 decals to go then add the landing gear and doors.---John
john53
Decals done, once gloss coat sets, seems a bit tacky, I'll add the landing gear and doors and it's done.---John Edited September 12, 2018 by john53
