WWII Era USAAF Markings would have really made it look better as opposed to the low-vis USAF markings.

There have been sheets covering this in 1/72 and 1/48 scale.  Not sure about 1/32 scale.

What am I missing?  It looks like they were trying to do the WWII scheme to me, so maybe I don't know my WWII schemes.

Yep!  Big 40" white stars would have been the icing on the cake!
