Resin air intake for Tamiya's F-16C 1:48

Recommended Posts

I am looking for any resin intake for F-16C Viper.

I know there are very good intakes for F/A-18 or F-4 available (XMM or Rhino), but what about F-16?

Do you know anything about such aftermarket?

I know that Phase Hanger is supposedly working on sets for both Hasegawa and Tamiya F-16s. No ETA announced as of yet.

Trying to get a build done for Nationals. After that I’ll get back to work on the intakes masters. 🙂

As I can see you have just issued intake for F-2A.

Nice, but I am affraid those outward intake cover looks a little bit more coarse then Hasegawa's one. Or maybe it is just picture?

Have you got maybe better picture of those parts?

I’m sorry, I don’t understand your question regarding the F-2 intakes.

The photo is a resin copy of the master pattern. I still don’t understand the “outward intake cover” you mention as I didn’t make any intake covers (I don’t use intake covers in any of my builds BTW 😎).

Your set contains two main parts: inside intake part and outside part.

I asked about this second one which I believe is just a copy of Hasegawa's kit part.

I think it looks worse then Hasegawa's part, more coarse, so it could be nice to see it on better picture.
