Hello friends, this is my first ever Blackhawk build in any scale, this one is the 1/35 academy a friend transfer this monster to me as a gift..

you would have to get the straight story from someone who was deployed to that theatre, but I am guessing it was part of the 4/120 air conditioning system: 4 windows removed to allow the outside air in at 120 knots cruising speed.  basically, its just to (try) to keep the cabin a bit cooler in desert environments.  or at least, thats my theory.

since mine is a medevac I don't think they remove the windows on those..? what do you think

 

i wish I can do it on mine since I hate to deal with clear parts..:bandhead2:

Probably not, since you dont want sand and dust blowing onto a wounded patient but maybe while not on a live mission, perhaps its plausible...

Ramon, I think this one have just two windows... or they are way too clean lol 😀

Unfortunately I don’t have pictures, as every time I arose in one I NEEDED to be riding in it.  ((All is well, lived to fight another day))
