1/48 QF-86 Sabre

One more Monogram kit. Like the MiG, I found this scheme at China Lake in 1991 that helped me avoid natural metal.

  Just another impressive build, let alone it being a Golden Oldie Monogram kit.  Love the Camo paint scheme.

Nice one. Let it be known though, that particular Mitsubishi built Sabre was equipped with the slatted extended span wing, not the hard edge wing of the Monogram kit.

I wondered if it was one of the Japanese built Sabres. I almost did the Blue Impulse scheme until I found that one. Thanks for the info!

Nice work! What is the origin of that scheme? Reminds me a little of the bolvia sabres.
