tomcatfan
Hi all, I am planning to build an Apache and would like to depict a combat veteran from either Desert Storm or OIF. However, I have been unable to find any aftermarket decals in 1/48th scale. At least nothing that has not been sold out long ago. Does anybody know of decals for either the AH-64A or AH-64D fighting in Iraq? Any help will be much appreciated. Regards, Daniel
huey_crew_chief
Twobobs had two different sheets.
tomcatfan
I know they had, but I have not been able to locate even one of them.
huey_crew_chief
Oh, sorry. I thought they were still available. I may have a set. I will look.
Floyd S. Werner, Jr.
I (Werner's Wings) want to do a sheet for the Apache but that is down on the list slightly. So if you have any photos that you'd like to share, email me at fwernerjr@comcast.net Thanks Floyd
scotthldr
Good luck finding any of the Two Bobs covering DS or OIF, I spent several months looking for these as I needed the stencil data off the sheets for my own build, ended up buying the Bestfong sheet but obviously that doesn't help you. tomcatfan
Thanks for your replies guys. I will keep my eyes open for those TwoBobs sheets. Unfortunately I do not have any photos, but I still hope that Floyd will come out with a Apache sheet some day.
zerosystem
What might be easier to find is the Twobobs IPMS Nationals sheet from a few years back. It was when it was in Arizona and featured F-4s and AH-64s of Arizona. I had found it at Rare Plane Detective without having to pay and arm and a leg when I was looking for AH-64 decals.
