Janne,

Decaling looks great. From the little I know about Me262s, they really took a beating out in the field. Restores aircraft look brand new. So the decision is really up to you as to the type of aircraft you want to display.

Joel

You know me....I like them grimey and dirty 😜

Janne,

I  finally remembered what your Me 262  build reminds me of in terms of getting a contest model completed: Your F-111 build.  And as I recall, you did rather well with it.

Joel

LOL, yeah it has scored in every contest I've put it in 😄 start date July 18th and final update September 2nd...the 262 is a much faster and simpler build though straight OOB. 🙂

OK, close to finished now...

Some weathering to be done first.

I begun with a thin grey panel wash.

Wiped it off...distinct yet  not overpowering panellines, thaty´s what I like with grey panelwashes 😄

Streaking and dirt came in several small washes with what I could find in my weathering box 😛

Fantastic my friend!

Why a simple OOB build of your look so much better of a my model for which I spend months ?

Gianni

Are you kidding? Wish I had half your skill with those tiny details in you minuscule 1/72nd scale builds

Janne,

If it was my build, in two weeks time, I'd have almost gotten the pit done at best.

Joel

But what a pit it would have been!! 😉

Your speed of building is incredible!!!! :worthy::worthy::worthy:  For me it would take at least a year to do this!

And the result is amazing!

Best regards

Yeah, but you'd do a ton of scratchbuilding to make it correct as well 😄 I did this OOB without much detailing...it is a tammy kit you know 😄
