peter havriluk
I got the black figured out to my satisfaction, but the yellow. Eh? Lots of shades of yellow. In the world of Tamiya spray lacquers, is TS-16, plain old yellow, a rational match? Is TS-34, 'camel yellow' a better match? I realize that nobody's got color chips from a 1931 racer, but is there a consensus color approximation? Thanks!
Cubs2jets
Peter, The Berry Brothers were big producers of aircraft "dope" in the 1930's. Here is a 1930 color palate... Though I have only seen replicas of the GeeBee Z, my bet is on the yellow in the upper left... C2j Edited August 16, 2018 by Cubs2jets
