Hornet14
I recently picked up a Hasegawa F-15 off eBay and want to use the kit decals but they're slightly yellowed. What's the best way to fix them?
Snowbird3a
I had good luck using my daughter’s UV fingernail polish dryer Tony
dnl42
I've read about using sunlight. Don't know the details, but Google probably does...
dogsbody
Put the decals in a clear plastic bag and tape it to a southern facing window, decals facing out. Wait a few days. Repeat if necessary. Chris

habu2
Is it the clear carrier film that yellowed, or the “whites” in markings.? Hasegawa is notorious for their ivory or cream colored “whites” on their sheets.
Hornet14
The decals are for the F-15 Gulf Spirit I think they're yellowed rather than an off white as I've seen images online where they appear to be the right color. The tail codes and state of Florida are the biggest issues on the sheet.
Els
A couple of the older kits I have purchased had yellowed decals. I put them in the back window of my car for a couple of days so they could get plenty of sun. Usually after about three days the yellow has gone away. The problem is that a couple of months after putting them on the kit, the yellow comes back.
