I just start building this model and planning to paint in VF-154 to go with the F/A-18 in my another building plan.

Harry Chu,

Incredible detail 👍😲😎

What Resin Cockpit are you using and who’s after market seats 💺 are you using

Looking very good,

Hi, Happy,

I use Eduard resin seat, but I don't like the photo-etched seatbelt, so I am looking for something instead.

Harry Chu,

Thanks for the reply👍

You might consider Quickboost as an alternative 🤔

Cheers,

I second that, QB seats are gorgeous.

The cockpit looks awesome none the less and the bang seat, besides the somewhat flat harness. 😄

Scratch build the gun gas purge vent and intakes.

Using 0.1mm plastic sheets.

That looks fantastic, a tip of the hat to you on your scratchbuilding skills. You should send a copy to Quickboost for the to make a NACA vent replacement we have all been waiting for (since I have not near this level of scratchbuilding talent).

Cheers

I agree on the seat belts. Don't know why people love them. To me they look too thin and need more meat. I think these works for 1/72nd but 1/48 and up does not seem to be realistic enough.

Working on the AN/AAQ-25 pod, the air intake is scratch built.
Only primer is applied, not painted yet.

How, how are you doing this?? I'm looki at the parts and they just keep looong smaller in real life. And your stuff is so perfect. I'm betting you have a secret 1/10th scale kit you're really working on. Haha.

Would love to see how you're able to do such precise scratch building.

What VF-154 markings are you doing?

Brian,

I am looking for  any decals of VF-154 and VFA-192 onboard USS KITTY HAWK, but most of them are out of stock.
