Steve N
Gonna see the T-birds tomorrow at Thunder Over Michigan. They never fail to disappoint. Hopefully skies will be clear enough for them to do their "High Show." Whenever they come here their routine usually takes them right over our house several times. southwestforests
Hhmm, there AT 2:47, 2:48 it looks like nosewheel rotates 90 degrees to lie flat in wheel well. Ran video again at 1/4 speed just to check and yes, it still looks like that. Slipstream vapor puffs at 3:24, did they go transonic for an instant? That scene at 9:13, a dramatic visual. Vapour trails have nothing to do with the speed of sound, they are a function of the humidity and lower localized air pressure. Even CT-114 Tutors can pull a wingtip vapour trail at high ‘G’. Tony ps. Nice video
southwestforests
I should have known that, Dad and Grandad were pilots. Can I blame it on that I still don't feel good.

Darren Roberts
Neat video. Interesting that they wear oxygen masks. I don't believe the Blues do, unless they've changed recently.
