Airfix 1/72 BAE Systems Hawk 109 'TNI-AU'

Build 6 for this year is my first ever Airfix kit. Quite trouble-free except for the small parts which all require trimming to fit. The completion of this build coincides with the month Indonesia gained independence in 1945. Markings are from Scale Nutz depicting TNI-AU's Hawk 109 TT-1203 from Skadron 12 'Panther Hitam' (12th Air Squadron 'Black Panthers') which flew out of Pekanbaru, Sumatra (not Wakanda).

Nicely done, did you have to use much nose weight or did the underwing tanks prove sufficient to keep it on its wheels? Noce to see one in camo, a lovely build.

I added a small fishing weight (maybe about 20g) as recommended by the instructions in the small space provided in front of the cockpit.
