KEB
I'm building the 1/48 GWH SU-35...very pleased with the detail of the kit, but I do have a question...not sure if this has came up so please forgive me for asking again if it has, the Ejection seat looks a bit small for the scale, has there been any discussion regarding this? Maybe because I've been working on 1/32 for awhile it just looks to small for 1/48...granted I could be dead wrong.
ya-gabor
We have designed the G.W.H kits ejectionseat based on Zvezda (the ejectionseats manufacturer ) measurements and also compared it to my own K-36DM seat. The size is good (even if I say so ). Best regards Gabor

ya-gabor
Thanks. I tried my best to get it as good and authentic as possible. This is the first true representation of this version of the seat in any scale. Most manufacturers just drop in off-the shelf K-36 seat from their CAD database to their new kit but dont make a notice that this is the latest development of this seat with several differences (visible differences) from previous versions. Here is my own built and painted example of the G.W.H Su-35S seat. The only extra on it are few spare decals and some of the kits decals which had to be cut to fit. On the side of it I added a line or two for a little detailing, but the harness is as it is in the kit. The ZS-7AP helmet is from an old Edu set. Thanks for it to a great friend! ya-gabor
Hi Parabat, Matt Walker, Thanks! I have to say that I am sorry that for the moment this build is on hold due to other works, builds and design projects. So no up-dates for the moment but in fact in the back ground some work is on with the Su-35S kit. So hope to be able to publish something on it somewhere in the near future. (Now the definition of NEAR is very wide!!! from 2 milliseconds to infinity!) Best regards Gabor
