dawestsides
My 3rd visit to this beautiful place, no new exhibits but better lighting for my 24-105mm. Taken today morning, enjoy! Edited September 15, 2018 by dawestsides

afoxbat
MAGNIFICENT PICTURES!! Many Thanks for sharing! Did you perhaps get any of the Tu-128 (NATO - Fiddler)? I've not seen some of these types with such clarity before! Quite enjoyable!!!👍👍👍 Sincerely, afoxbat
afoxbat
There she is! I was just impatient. Again, splendid photos! My sincerest thanks for sharing! afoxbat
Parabat
Great pictures, really nice and clear, some little seen or onown of aircraft. Favourite has to be the Su-27 prototype. Edited September 15, 2018 by Parabat
Darren Roberts
All I can say is thank you very much for taking the time to post these gorgeous pictures. It's not often one gets to see this number of Russian aircraft. Would where you took pictures be the equivalent of the US Air Force Museum?
Mstor
Beautiful photos. Incredible collection of aircraft. Thank you so very much for posting these.

Ken I've heard the same rumors about a possible transfer to the recently opened Patriot Park in Kubinka, but I highly doubt it, it would be too costly. Yesterday the museum was buzzing with activity, a lot of volunteers were there (see scaffolding on the Mi-12 pics). Edited September 16, 2018 by dawestsides

I have never been there so I can not answer, I am more into russian hardware 😋
mario krijan
Nice place, probably they will move collection to Park Patriot. Everything you see is done by volunteers who clean and paint exhibits. Dawestides thanks for pictures!!
dawestsides
Thanks Mario, it would be extremely difficult to do, especially for the big frames and costly as well.
stevehnz
Wow, brilliant photos & what a variety, you.'d never get me out of the place. 🙂 Thanks for sharing them. Steve
Flankerman
Check out their official website :- http://www.monino.ru/ It's a bit clunky - and in Russian. Click on the 'Ekspositsiya' link for some great views of the 'Exposition' (2nd link under the red star) http://www.monino.ru/index.sema?a=pages&id=3 Have fun! Ken PS - Not to hijack Dawestsides post - but some photos of my many visits to Monino are here :- http://www.flankers-site.co.uk/mos2013_day06.html (scroll down the page a bit)
sierrascale
Thanks for the link Flankerman. I'm using the Chrome browser, so it automatically translated the website. They have a lot of artifacts and aircraft inside the halls, but the layout and displays seem to be old school museum style, unlike the modern graphic presentations of the USAF Museum. Still, it would be fantastic to visit.
