GeejeeZ
Hi guys, After a long period of experimenting with different clear coats (gloss), I ended up with Humbrol Enamel. I don't use an airbrush, and prefer to apply my clear coats with a spray can. The trouble I keep running into with the Humbrol clear coat (enamel) is that the nozzle of the spray can cloggs up some days after first use. I also use other Humbrol spray cans but these don't give me trouble. Sometimes I manage to solve the problem by leaving the nozzle soaking overnight in a bath of Blue Wonder, but that does only do the trick one time... I store the cans in room temperature, upside down. Anyone have experience with this? TIA, Gertjan
Mstor
After use, turn can upside down and spray until only propellant comes out. This should prevent the nozzle from clogging. If that doesn't work, sometimes soaking the nozzle in lacquer (cellulose) thinner will unclog it.
